Password Recovery - Reset Sage 50 / Peachtree


PasswordRecoveryIf you have misplaced your Administrator User ID or Password and are unable to login to Sage 50 / Peachtree Accounting our Password Recovery is here for you.

There are a few procedures you should try first.

  • Passwords are case sensitive, the User ID is not.  Make sure your Caps Lock is not activated.  So password and PASSWORD are different.
  • If you have upgraded your Sage 50 / Peachtree Accounting Software from a prior version and your User ID or Password does not fit into field completely, just type the first 9 characters of your password in the fields and click ok.
  • Sage 50 has minimum complexity requirements for Password.  It must be at least 7 characters long and contains both alphabetic characters (A - Z, a - z) and numerals (0 - 9).
  • At the time of writing, Sage Business Care Support allows one free Password Reset.  You will need to contact Sage 50 Business Care Support directly for further assistance.

Our Administrator Password Reset and Recovery Service can also reset all your Sage 50 / Peachtree Security Settings.  This would remove all users and assigned roles.  When you receive the data back, there will be no users.  You may reestablish them if you choose.
