Getting Started with Merge Accounts for Sage 50 Accounting

Before executing the Merge Accounts software, always create a backup of your company data
to safeguard against errors. If an incorrect customer is selected, you can easily restore your backup and retry the process.
This operation permanently transfers all transactions from one customer to another.

Once you click the Move Transactions button, the changes take effect immediately and cannot be reversed. Having a backup ensures you can recover your data if needed.

  1. Start the Merge Customer Account software by either clicking on the Desktop Icon or from the Windows Start Menu.
  2. Verify or change the current Sage 50 company you want to work with.
